#365daypoetrychallenge
#Day71
I speak in lines you can feel
Run bold on lines of open realities
I seek core hard moulds reeling
In smoking facts of life
I crave hands craving fitting uplift
For a people deep in self-wrought
I steal lines of old and new
Raising pillars yearning
Gainful today and tomorrow
I draft crafts of lasting memories
Drawn from wells of yesterday's
Bards and grey haired ones,
Staging virtues for good.
I speak in letters and lines you can relate
Bundling holes cutting us deaths
And wailing pockets across our space
I roam hearts around hopeful world
Battered bulldozers and caterpillars
I dig deep for period finds
I sing in tongues of unloading
Crafts minted for consciences
Parading streets as gods
For heroe-worships
I speak from the skies of Europe
Across the rising dew of Bosphorous
Today is Children Day in Turkey
Kids are celebrated in the bowel
of a Turkish bird
Deep in the skies, Near by.
Seated by are two Nigerian kids
Smiling lovely smiles of hope
Only made real by patriotism
Rubbished by Corruption
Back home, headed.
Two kids...What hope?
