Festival Poetry Calabar 2017

FESTIVAL POETRY CALABAR IN 2017 Calabar, Cross River State will stand still once again as it hosts an outstanding list of poets, spoken words artists, performance poets, poetry lovers and art enthusiasts at the 3rd edition of Festival Poetry Calabar. We are pleased to announce that this year's festival comes up from 21st - 23rd December at the James Ene Henshaw Foundation, 4 Murtala Muhammed Highway, Calabar. Distinguished literary scholar, renowned writer and poet, Dr. Idom T. Inyabri is the keynote speaker at the 2017 edition of Festival Poetry Calabar themed Drums of Poetry: "Echoes and Prospects" Spot light of the Festival The festival will host a panel discussion on Christopher Okigbo's Lament of the Drums which will feature writers and authors like Ene Edem, Ekpenyong Bassey,   Peter Onwudinjo and Onyekachi Peter Onuoha. In our stimulating panel discussion, we will engage both new and established voices and receive contributions and questions
