Day 1
#365dayPoetry for Advocacy and Social Change challenge
"Who said men shouldn't cry?"
You never dare
Because one shouldn't speak when muted
This story is hidden between your loins
And tears cupped, but they flow still
Who said men shouldn't cry?
When you're raped out of consciousness
And the virgin of your heart stuck
You writhe under skirts of kicks 'n' hits
Of shoves and slaps amidst chokes
Trails of blood encrypted on tiles
Are the longest of your memories
Words for cops fail you
Because you think this pain is your course
